February 1, 2025: Harvey, LA 70058 The Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) basketball crushed the host West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), 60-39 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 19-8 record. They play next when they host Booker T. Washington for a 3A District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Kennedy will play a Lions team coming off a 56-16 league win over Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Lions record now stands at 13-19.
With the loss, West Jefferson falls to 13-16 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to East Jefferson (Metairie, LA) to play the Warriors in a 5A District 10 bout on Monday, February 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 17-16.
