West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), 73-30 in a non-league match.

With the victory, West Craven advances its record to 4-10 on the year. The Eagles host Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to face the Jaguars in a 2A Eastern Plains match on Tuesday, February 4. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 16-4. Farmville Central won 97-70 in their recent league match against Washington (Washington, NC)

The Warriors now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pungo Christian Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5.
