The Martin Luther Cougars basketball squad (Maspeth, NY), was nudged 73-71 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Morrisville-Eaton Mavericks (Morrisville, NY)

With the victory, Morrisville-Eaton advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY) to meet the Indians in a Section 3 Center State III battle on Monday, February 3. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 1-14.
