Ohio High School Basketball - Turpin overwhelms Western Brown
February 1, 2025: Mt. Orab, OH 45154 The Turpin Spartans basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Western Brown Broncos to 49 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Turpin advances its record to 9-9 on the year. The Spartans host Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH) to meet the Rockets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Rockets enter the battle with a record of 7-10. Archbishop McNicholas lost 55-49 in their recent league battle against Badin (Hamilton, OH)
The Broncos now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chillicothe for a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. Western Brown will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 46-32 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-9.
