Delaware High School Basketball - Archmere Academy fells Kennett
February 1, 2025: Claymont, DE 19703 The Archmere Academy Auks basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting Kennett Blue Demons to 24 in the Auks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Auks now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wilmington Friends for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Archmere Academy will confront a Quakers team coming off a 31-28 non-league win over Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Quakers record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Kennett falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Blue demons travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to confront the Hornets in a Ches-Mont - American game on Monday, February 3. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 2-15. Oxford lost 51-28 in their recent non-league game against Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA)
