The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL) and the host Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL), observed Marshall's basketball squad get by Arcola by a score of 52-50.

Next, the Lions clash with the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 11-13 record after their 57-25 non-league loss to Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL).
