The Hastings Tigers basketball squad (Hastings, NE), was crushed 70-26 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE)

With the victory, Bennington advances its record to 15-3 on the year. The Badgers travel to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to meet the SkyHawks in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The SkyHawks enter the battle with a record of 18-1. Skutt Catholic won 81-57 in their recent non-league battle against Omaha Central (Omaha, NE)

The Tigers now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a B District 7 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Hastings will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Crete (Crete, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 12-6.
