New York High School Basketball - Bethlehem Central holds off Bishop Kearney
February 1, 2025: Delmar, NY 12054 The Bethlehem Central Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Bishop Kearney Kings to 55 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a Section 2 Suburban game on Friday, February 7. Bethlehem Central will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 58-48 league win over Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Bishop Kearney falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Kings travel to Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Sunday, February 2. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 9-6. Averill Park won 60-8 in their recent league game against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY)
