Ohio High School Basketball - Euclid thwarts Buchtel
February 1, 2025: Akron, OH 44320 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Euclid Panthers (Euclid, OH) and the host Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), observed Euclid's basketball team knock off Buchtel by a score of 42-22.
The Panthers (4-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Blue Devils come into the Greater Cleveland challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick dropped by Strongsville (Strongsville, OH), 64-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Griffins encounter the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Buchtel will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 58-45 league win over Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH).
