February 1, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70813 Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), 98-8 in a league match.
With the victory, Southern Lab advances its record to 17-4 on the year. The Kittens travel to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 15-3. John Curtis Christian won 57-44 in their recent league match against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA)
The Redhawks now own a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Iberville for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. Central Private will face a Bears squad coming off a 45-10 non-league loss to Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bears record now stands at 4-10.
