The Champaign Central Maroons basketball squad (Champaign, IL), was crushed 63-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL)

With the victory, Lincoln advances its record to 14-10 on the year. The Railsplitters host Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL) to meet the Irish in a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. The Irish enter the battle with a record of 23-4. Peoria Notre Dame won 70-32 in their recent non-league battle against Paris (Paris, IL)

The Maroons now own a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decatur Eisenhower for a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. Champaign Central will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 60-30 league loss to Normal University (Normal, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-20.
