February 1, 2025: Gainesville, MO 65655 The Gainesville Bulldogs (Gainesville, MO) basketball edged the visiting Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO), 31-29 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Fordland for a Summit bout on Thursday, February 6. Gainesville will play a Eagles team coming off a 53-20 league win over Conway (Conway, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
With the loss, Laquey falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Richland (Richland, MO) to play the Bears in a Frisco bout on Monday, February 3. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Richland lost 64-49 in their recent league bout against Iberia (Iberia, MO)
