The George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL), 50-24 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 16-8 record.

With the loss, Wharton falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL) to play the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Sunlake won 51-34 in their recent non-league bout against Fivay (Hudson, FL)
