Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbrook North nips Palatine
February 1, 2025: Northbrook, IL 60062 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Glenbrook North Spartans basketball team scored a close 51-45 triumph over the Palatine Pirates.
The Spartans (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, Maine West was nudged by Niles West (Skokie, IL), 45-39, in a league battle.
The Pirates now own a 14-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoffman Estates for a Mid-Suburban - West battle on Tuesday, February 4. Palatine will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 50-35 league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 3-21.
