Michigan High School Basketball - Grand Blanc bested by Traverse City Central
February 1, 2025: Traverse City, MI 49686 Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Grand Blanc Bobcats (Grand Blanc, MI), 49-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Traverse City Central advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to face the Blue Devils in a Big North match on Friday, February 7. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 4-8. Gaylord won 49-42 in their recent league match against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
The Bobcats now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powers Catholic for a Saginaw Valley match on Tuesday, February 4. Grand Blanc will face a Chargers squad coming off a 78-68 league win over Dow (Midland, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 10-3.
