South Dakota High School Basketball - Herreid/Selby holds off Lemmon
February 1, 2025: Herreid, SD 57632 The Herreid/Selby Wolverines basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Lemmon Cowboys to 48 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now have a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Faith for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Herreid/Selby will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 64-41 non-league win over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Lemmon falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys host McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD) to confront the Mustangs in a B Region 8 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 11-3. McLaughlin won 55-37 in their recent non-league game against Todd County (Mission, SD)
