The Highland Park Scots (Topeka, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Lawrence Free State Firebirds (Lawrence, KS), 60-39 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Scots now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a Meadowlark bout on Tuesday, February 4. Highland Park will play a Wildcats team coming off a 57-27 non-league win over Schlagle (Kansas City, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-8.
