February 1, 2025: Minnetonka, MN 55345 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) and the host Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN), observed Maple Grove's basketball team overwhelm Minnetonka by a score of 72-40.
The Crimson (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Panthers come into the AAAA Section 5 challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Spring Lake Park was routed by Elk River (Elk River, MN), 56-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Skippers encounter the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Minnetonka will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 101-68 non-league loss to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN).
