February 1, 2025: Fresno, CA 93703 The McLane Highlanders basketball squad (Fresno, CA), lost 50-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA)
With the victory, Porterville advances its record to 7-17 on the year. The Panthers travel to Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA) to meet the Pioneers in a East Yosemite battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Pioneers enter the battle with a record of 10-10. Mt. Whitney lost 62-23 in their recent league battle against Monache (Porterville, CA)
The Highlanders now own a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Justin Garza for a North Yosemite battle on Tuesday, February 4. McLane will meet a Guardians squad coming off a 35-32 league win over Madera South (Madera, CA). The Guardians record now stands at 9-14.
