The Montgomery Aztecs basketball squad (San Diego, CA), was nudged 48-42 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA)

With the victory, Scripps Ranch advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Falcons host Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA) to meet the Dons in a Western battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Dons enter the battle with a record of 17-6. Cathedral Catholic lost 46-33 in their recent non-league battle against Westview (San Diego, CA)

The Aztecs now own a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympian for a Metro battle on Wednesday, February 5. Montgomery will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 69-23 league loss to Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-14.
