Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), 55-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Serra upgrades its record to 13-11 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA) to face the Jesters in a Camino Real match on Monday, February 3. The Jesters enter the match with a record of 21-4. Saint Joseph won 63-37 in their recent league match against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA)

The Warriors now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pomona Catholic for a Santa Fe match on Tuesday, February 4.
