Missouri High School Basketball - West Platte thwarts South Nodaway
February 1, 2025: Barnard, MO 64423 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) and the host South Nodaway Longhorns (Barnard, MO), observed West Platte's basketball team knock off South Nodaway by a score of 44-31.
The Bluejays (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against South Holt (Oregon, MO). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-22 record. In their last challenge, South Holt was knocked off by Stewartsville (Stewartsville, MO), 37-20, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Longhorns encounter the Rock Port Blue Jays (Rock Port, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. South Nodaway will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 65-13 non-league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, IA).
