North Carolina High School Basketball - Hough knocks off Marvin Ridge
February 1, 2025: Waxhaw, NC 28173 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) and the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), observed Hough's basketball team overcome Marvin Ridge by a margin of 36-23.
The Huskies (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, West Charlotte defeated Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 42-11, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Marvin Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 15-13 non-league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC).
