Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch crushes Warhill
February 1, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23321 The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA), 79-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Western Branch will play a Hawks team coming off a 70-30 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Warhill falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Jamestown lost 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA)
