California High School Soccer - Laguna Creek nudges Florin
February 1, 2025: Sacramento, CA 95828 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) and the host Florin Panthers (Sacramento, CA), saw Laguna Creek's soccer squad hold off Florin by a count of 3-2.
The Cardinals (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Wildcats enter the Delta League battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Franklin was edged by Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA) in a Greater Sacramento League battle, on Monday, February 3. Florin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Royals enter the battle with a 7-6 record after their 5-0 league loss to Valley (Sacramento, CA).
