Kentucky High School Basketball - Cumberland County holds off Green County
February 10, 2022: Greensburg, KY 42743 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) and the host Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY), saw Cumberland County's basketball squad hold off Green County by a tally of 75-68.
With the victory, Cumberland County improves its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Barren County (Glasgow, KY) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 11. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Barren County lost 61-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 11. Green County will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 65-58 non-league loss to Woodford County (Versailles, KY).
