New Jersey High School Basketball - High Point tipped by Hopatcong
February 10, 2022: Hopatcong, NJ 07843 The Hopatcong Chiefs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting High Point Wildcats to 46 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Chiefs now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cliffside Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 12. Hopatcong will meet a Raiders team coming off a 47-41 league loss to Dumont (Dumont, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 5-8.
The Wildcats (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ). The Patriots enter the Northwest Jersey - Freedom contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Lenape Valley was nudged by Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ), 56-38, in a non-league contest.
