The Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) basketball nipped the host Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA), 44-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Rams (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA). The Golden Tigers go into the Mountain test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Hollidaysburg got by Altoona (Altoona, PA), 61-50, in a non-league test.
