New Jersey High School Basketball - Morris Catholic can't hold off Pequannock
February 10, 2022: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 The Pequannock Golden Panthers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Morris Catholic Crusaders to 63 in the Golden Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Golden Panthers now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 12. Pequannock will battle a Dodgers team coming off a 43-35 non-league win over Boonton (Boonton, NJ). The Dodgers record now stands at 12-6.
The Crusaders (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Wolfpack come into the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, West Morris Central edged Delbarton (Morristown, NJ), 56-47, in a league contest.
