North Dakota High School Basketball - Stanley can't hold off South Prairie
February 10, 2022: Minot, ND 58701 The South Prairie Royals basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Stanley Blue Jays to 44 in the Royals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Royals now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surrey for a B Region 6 District 12 contest on Monday, February 14. South Prairie will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 62-43 non-league win over Nedrose (Minot, ND). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-2.
The Blue Jays (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kenmare (Kenmare, ND). The Honkers come into the B Region 8 District 16 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Kenmare edged New Town (New Town, ND), 72-42, in a non-league contest.
