St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO), 86-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Ellicott (Calhan, CO) to play the Thunderhawks in a 3A Tri-Peaks bout on Saturday, February 12. The Thunderhawks come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Ellicott won 70-66 in their recent league bout against The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO)
