February 10, 2022: Newark, DE 19711 The Newark Yellowjackets basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Appoquinimink Jaguars to 27 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christiana for a Blue Hen Flight - B contest on Friday, February 18.
The Jaguars (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dover (Dover, DE). The Senators enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Dover ran past Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE), 54-51, in a league contest.
