In Friday's league outing, the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) basketball squad edged the host Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN), by a count of 50-43.

The Fighting 59ers (4-13) will now prepare for their outing against South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, South Bend Adams was tipped by New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN), 60-49, in a league outing.
