Indiana High School Basketball - Bluffton can't hold off Northfield

The Northfield Norsemen basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Bluffton Tigers to 47 in the Norsemen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Norsemen now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maconaquah for a Three Rivers contest on Tuesday, February 14. Northfield will battle a Braves team coming off a 80-78 league win over Southwood (Wabash, IN). The Braves record now stands at 12-6.

The Tigers (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Bellmont nudged Angola (Angola, IN), 63-40, in a non-league contest.
