In their next game, the Monarchs face the Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 17. John Marshall will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Red Riders enter the game with a 13-8 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH).
With the defeat, Buckeye Local moves to 7-14 on the year. The Panthers travel to Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 9-12. Catholic Central lost 71-56 in their recent non-league contest against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV)
