The Eastmark Firebirds basketball team (Mesa, AZ), was nudged 62-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ)

The Lancers now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prescott for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 16. Salpointe Catholic will battle a Badgers team coming off a 63-38 non-league loss to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 20-3.
