Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors (Hammond, IN), 84-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marquette Catholic improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Blazers host Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Illiana Christian won 62-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Hammond Bishop Noll will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 39-36 non-league loss to Griffith (Griffith, IN).
