Michigan High School Basketball - Hemlock overwhelmed by Standish-Sterling
February 10, 2023: Hemlock, MI 48626 The Standish-Sterling Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Hemlock Huskies to 28 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nouvel Catholic Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Standish-Sterling will battle a Panthers team coming off a 74-48 league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.
The Huskies (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers come into the Tri-Valley - West contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Valley Lutheran was routed by St. Louis (St. Louis, MI), 50-45, in a league contest.
