February 10, 2023: Muskegon, MI 49441 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wellspring Prep (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders (Muskegon, MI), saw Wellspring Prep's basketball squad hold off Muskegon Catholic Central by a tally of 53-49.
With the victory, Wellspring Prep improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The travel to Saranac (Saranac, MI) to confront the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 2-14. Saranac won 70-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Lee Legends (Wyoming, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Muskegon Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Legends come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 62-59 league win over Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI).
