The Barrow Whalers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Delta Huskies to 24 in the Whalers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Whalers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nome-Beltz for a 3A Western contest on Friday, February 17. Barrow will meet a Nanooks team coming off a 34-25 non-league loss to North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Nanooks record now stands at 9-7.
