Kansas High School Basketball - Blue Valley Northwest can't hold off Blue Valley West
February 10, 2023: Stilwell, KS 66085 The Blue Valley West Jaguars basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Blue Valley Northwest Huskies to 36 in the Jaguars league victory on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Miege for a Eastern Kansas contest on Tuesday, February 14. Blue Valley West will battle a Stags team coming off a 68-45 non-league loss to Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Stags record now stands at 7-5.
The Huskies (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Blue Valley North was nudged by Aquinas (Overland Park, KS), 54-35, in a non-league contest.
