February 10, 2023: Worcester, MA 01604 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA) and the host North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA), saw Douglas's basketball squad hold off North by a count of 32-25.
With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 1-16 on the campaign. The Tigers host Burncoat (Worcester, MA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Burncoat lost 63-36 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Paul (Worcester, MA)
Next up, the Polar Bears play the Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. North will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 51-27 non-league win over North (Worcester, MA).
