Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Douglass Bulldogs (Douglass, KS), 63-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Medicine Lodge upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Indians travel to Cheney (Cheney, KS) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Cheney won 69-33 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Garden Plain Owls (Garden Plain, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 35-33 non-league loss to Kingman (Kingman, KS).
