Texas High School Basketball - Palestine fells Poteet
February 10, 2023: Mesquite, TX 75150 Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX), 55-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palestine upgrades its record to 19-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 20-10. Chapel Hill won 57-31 in their recent league bout against Henderson (Henderson, TX)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Poteet will attempt to upgrade on its 20-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 14-12 record after their 85-14 league win over Jefferson (Dallas, TX).
