February 10, 2023: Pomona, KS 66076 In Friday's non-league outing, the Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS) basketball squad edged the host West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS), by a count of 57-52.
The Eagles (3-13) will now prepare for their outing against Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Pioneer outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Anderson County held off Iola (Iola, KS), 52-22, in a league outing.
The Falcons now hold a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Marais des Cygnes Valley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 14. West Franklin will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 63-24 non-league loss to Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 11-7.
