February 10, 2023: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) and the host Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC), saw Bethel Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Hilltop Christian by a count of 41-36.
With the victory, Bethel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC) to play the Patriots in a challenge on Monday, February 13. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Wilmington Christian Academy lost 51-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC)
Next up, the Chargers play the Greenville Christian Academy Knights (Greenville, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Hilltop Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 56-36 league win over Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC).
