Washington, DC High School Basketball - Woodside thwarts Archbishop Carroll
February 10, 2024: Washington, DC 20017 The Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) basketball knocked off the host Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 79-60 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (20-1) will now prepare for their test against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Dukes go into the Peninsula test with a 1-20 record. In their last test, Gloucester went down by Hampton (Hampton, VA), 86-38, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 16-13 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Ireton for a non-league test on Friday, February 16.
