Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH), saw Austintown-Fitch's basketball squad hold off Smithville by a count of 48-42.

With the victory, Austintown-Fitch upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Harding (Warren, OH) to play the Raiders in a All-American challenge on Friday, February 16. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Harding won 57-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas (Louisville, OH)

Next up, the Smithies play the Dalton Bulldogs (Dalton, OH) in a Wayne County challenge, on Friday, February 16. Smithville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record.
