Wisconsin High School Basketball - Brother Rice crushes Verona
February 10, 2024: Verona, WI 53593 Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI), 86-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brother Rice upgrades its record to 26-3 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Wolfpack in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 15-13. Saint Ignatius College Prep lost 70-61 in their recent non-league bout against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Madison La Follette Lancers (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Verona will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 92-91 league win over Sun Prairie East (Sun Prairie, WI).
