Colorado High School Basketball - Dove Creek holds off Dolores
February 10, 2024: Dolores, CO 81323 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Dove Creek Bulldogs (Dove Creek, CO) and the host Dolores Bears (Dolores, CO), saw Dove Creek's basketball squad hold off Dolores by a tally of 48-42.
With the victory, Dove Creek improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Telluride (Telluride, CO) to confront the Miners in a 2A/1A San Juan Basin challenge on Monday, February 12. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Telluride lost 61-55 in their recent league challenge against Nucla (Nucla, CO)
Next up, the Bears confront the Ridgway Demons (Ridgway, CO) in a 2A/1A San Juan Basin challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Dolores will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 55-48 league loss to Mancos (Mancos, CO).
